The handmade scented candles follow an artisanal elaboration process consisting of several steps. Generally, the following ingredients are used: kerosene, coloring pigment, essential oil or flavoring essence, wick, stearic acid with flakes and a mold. The first step is to melt the stearic acid together with the kerosene. The essence is then added, as well as the chosen pigment. The wick is inserted through the hole in the candle and pulled out through the mouth of the mold. Next, wait until the kerosene is about 85ºC and pour the liquid compound into the mold. Finally, the candle is left to cool until it is completely solid and then it is removed from the mold. And now we have our scented candle.
